I took this picture at a "Home Depot" store in Waco, Texas, USA. Living in the US, most of the material is made here. IE: Lumber, insulation, roofing shingles, paint etc.. I thought perhaps I could find some products from either Canada or Mexico. The cost of freight I figured had to be the most important factor in importing goods to the US. I was shocked to find ceramic floor tile made in China. The tile is extremely heavy. It must have cost a ton of CO2 to sail it across the ocean.
