Hello First of all i need to mention that picture is not taken by me. I used this picture because it shows in details surrounding of my university (Poznan University of Technology) and i think that is perfect for this topic. On this picture you can se university campus located on the left from Saint Roch Bridge. Campus area extends from the bridge to the Malta lake that is located in the upper part of the picture. Near the leake you can see big structure whichc is one of the biggest shoping malls in Poznan and it is located on the shore of the lake. In picture you can also see Warta river it's branch. Whole green area along the river is a city park and during spring and summer is full of open air retaurants, pubs etc. and is famous place for sport activities and rest for inhabitants. Same funtion as lake famous of it's biking and running paths and also kayaking track and hot therms. Invisible information: 1. Streets (in the bottom of the picture and located inside campus) that are clogged with traffic by people that are coming to the univeristy and also travel to the districts located near the lake (living districts) 2. Lack of connection between two "relax" areas (lake and river park) that would help to create complex relaxing area in the city More livable urban space (choice "1") Inside street in the campus can be closed and the traffic from it can be redirected to the streets around the university location. It would make campus much more people friendly i nterms of moving around it. Also if the sorrounding streets would be redisgne, it could remove all the traffics and make traveling in this area much more easier and friendly. Redisgn of the streets can also result in possibilite of making connection between lake and river park that is mentioned in "choice nr. 2"
