In my area, the four types of services are being used as under:- (1) Provisioning Services. Local food production in the form of vegetables, fruits and poultry is being undertaken. (2) Regulating Services. A lot of emphasis is being laid on horticulture and tree preservation. (3) Habitat or Supporting Services. Local university is involved in identification and protection of biodiversity hotspots. (4) Cultural Services. Development of parks and other recreational places is being adhered to. A large natural park exists for this purpose.
