Two of the many identifiable invisible information categories that may be extracted from this image are traffic and noise pollution. While being taken at a particularly quiet moment, this avenue is not always this peaceful. This is a main artery in the city, therefore becoming really busy on rush hours. Being also one of the favourite parts for the citizens to hang out because of the number of cafes, shops and restaurants, it becomes crowded with pedestrians specially on weekends. In the neighbouring park also takes place a social phenomenon consisting in crowds of youngsters gathering to drink alcohol at night. This increment and decrement of traffic, occupation and activities results in varying amounts of noise pollution, that, although invisible, can be easily measured and may help urban design. As noise pollution is a key aspect to the well being of the citizens, noise absorbing elements like vegetation are to be placed in those areas where this problem is most pressing. In this particular case, the park functions as a noise buffer that lets the neigbours sleep while still offering leisure activities at all times.
