The main fossil fuel used in Poland would be coal production. They are used in other energy uses which include, mainly residential, commerce and public services and agriculture/forestery. In Poland we have very big reservoirs of coal. Government thinks since we already own that it would be the best to use it without considering the consequences of such use. To improve the environmental policies in Poland, first of all, we would need to increase the number of renewable energies in the total energy input, then we wouldn't need to relay on coal so much as right now. Use of renewables to supply with the energy residential areas maybe encouraged by gouvernment with some kind of incentives, such as partly refunding the purchase of for example, solar panels. Residential use of energy was the biggest consumer of the energy in Poland. Also, we could think about promoting the use of automatic cars.
