It clearly shows a red stain (hotter temperatures) in the central urban area, whereas outsider áreas have lower temperatures. 3-I think a key strategy is including vegetation in the urban concentrations: trees along the sidewalk, urban wetlands, parks, green roofs. Besides, using high reflectance paving and roofing materials can also contribute. 4-I am not aware of any policy in my community.
