1. Done. 2. Up to 5 degrees Celsius hotter in the city than in rural nearby areas; average 3 degrees Celsius city summers are hotter than in rural areas; 10 more days above 32 degrees Celsius each year than rural areas. (I was allowed to upload only one picture.) 3. Urban planning regulations that take into consideration the heat island effect of buildings, measured adequately and taking into consideration also the effect of surrounding buildings and city geometry. Adding green and water areas all over the city; a system of green areas, even at neighbourhood level. 4. There are no practical policies that are planned to reduce the UHI effect, neither at local level, nor at national level. At best, some abstract concerns over known facts, but not even systematically documenting the phenomenon.
