1/2) From 2004 to 2013, Boston, Massachusetts went up by a temperature difference of 1.3 degrees Fahrenheit. 3) In order to reduce the UHI effect, I would implement more recreational parks in the center of the city to try and spread out the people and buildings, as there are currently lots of apartment building densely packed in the center of the city 4) I do not know of any policies in my area or the surrounding areas that are concerned with lowering the UHI effect
