The photo represents a typical electrical conection in Lima Centre. As many cities in Latin america, we can see electrical poles in every street full of visible electrical conections. The dependence for electrical independence is huge. I think historic centres have the most problems with electrical infraestructure because the buildings were not conceived to manage heat and cooling system, neither functions like office and administration buildings, most of them were conceived for housing. This a problem that reflects a lack of infraestructure analysis and simulation, with a correct urban system design, these kindnof problems could hel historic and livelihood witn lower income to became more attractive and liveable.
