My office, during internship, was located 4 kms from home and there were 2 simple routes I took. A bus and car route. There were 2 buses that took the same route with a 1/2 an hour interval in between. This route was longer as there are 10 stops in between so it would take me around half an hour to reach. It is usually hot outside at the time I leave for office and it helps that I had a short walk to the bus stop. The bus ride was always hassle free as mine would be one of the first stops. Whenever I had to go a bit early, my father dropped me in his vehicle which took about 10 mins to reach. My route back home was by 2 other buses which would take me back home in about the same 30 min duration and slightly different stops. Our area is always well lit and very active because of the shops around so I had no issues while travelling to the office.
