Why do we live where we live? - I live in Santa Maria, RS - Brazil. - Top reasons I live here: 1- University City; 2- Close to rural areas/nature; 3- Network of People (including my friends and family) and Institutions; 4- Culture activities; 5- Development possibility 3. To what extend does your own place of residence fulfill your ideal livability criteria? - Personal livability score: 61 - General livability score: 50 4. What would you change? - The first thing I would change would be to guarantee affordable, sustainable and inclusive public transportation to improve a more democratic access to the city. 5. Why do we move? - To make the choices less extensive, I will limit myself to cities inside my own country, Brazil. 1. São Paulo (democratic cultural activities, quality of public spaces, transportation quality, collaborative people network and job opportunities), ; 2. Curitiba (transportation quality, environment qualities, cultural activities, job opportunities and entertainment options); 3. Recife (environmental qualities, innovative government policies, transportation quality, cultural activities and international connection)
