1. The major fossil fuels used are coal and oil in India. 2. Fossil fuels are mainly used for industrial and transportation purposes 3. In the new policy, we should utilise more renewable resources like solar power and wind energy. Individual domestic units can be hired by the govt to set up solar panels. The photovoltaics is even possible in water as a floating structure as already tried by the Kerala govt. (given in picture). Depend more on public transportation rather than having individual cars and also use Green fuel operated vehicles. Promote using materials of low embodied energy in construction industry. Photovoltaics can also be used as a building material for wall and roof thereby increasing power generation. Promote building design that respects micro and macro climate will reduce energy demand
