• Multi generational concepts - Neighbourhood design need to promote activities that brings interactions with younger and elder generation • Provide common use buildings o Primary health care center at a walkable distance of 500mts from all the residence, if required more number of health care centers need to provided within the same neighbourhood. o Activity center – a venue to exhibit their works, a space to sit and interact with people. The center should act as a focal point in the neighbourhood. • Other than closed structures, open spaces should also be allocated within the neighbourhood for the recreational purpose. The space should be attractive and interesting to bring all the generation together. • Arts and cultural centre – theaters or multipurpose halls has to be provided within each neighbourhood to promote the traditional arts and festivals of the place. This helps in connecting the past to the present
