I reside in Guatire, a dormitory city of Caracas, the temperature generally varies from 20°C to 31°C, it is very hot throughout the year. Housing and industry predominate, the effects of the urban heat island are obvious due to the contamination of industries and the predominant use of the vehicle to move anywhere because everything is far. The urban development of this city so that it does not depend on the capital would decrease the predominant use of the vehicle, as well as the local development so that people can go on foot or on bicycles to carry out their activities that are in their vicinity. Improvements in public transport and that it is less polluting as well as the protection of the environment and the incorporation of vegetation in residential areas. In my community there is an interest in the environment and its care, it has pleasant green spaces and an extensive garden located in the central axis of the urbanization and which is like a small green lung for the intense urban heat island of the city.
