Earlier construction took place only with the materials that are available in the nearby surrounding areas,but as the technology developed we can see that all innovative materials around the world can be easily transported to any part of the world.This marks a great revolution in the construction industry.On the picture we can see cement and steel being used.There are also teak wood frames that are imported from kerela and used on the doors and windows.The flooring is constructed using marble that had bee imported from Rajastan.Due to this advancement in construction industry we are able to build our dream home with materials that can be imported from any part of the world.This may be a bit costly because of the transportation cost but still the look and finish what so ever we have thought is achieved at the end.One negative aspect of this is that the localized material is ignored in every part of the world and their livelihood id at stake.I would encourage people to use the locally available material also in minor parts in their building apart from importing the desired materials so that there is a balance that could be achieved.
