This picture is taken on the New Boulevard in Tirana, which is the extension of the existing one. The Boulevard is built in an undeveloped area according to urban experience rather than data study because the project is very large consisting of 4 car lanes, a bus lane and very wide crosswalks when the surroundings are mostly cabins and small houses. As you can see in the picture, people are walking on the road and not on the crosswalk and what is the most interesting is the fact that the perpendicular crosswalk that we see in the picture is actually used by cars to go to the underground parking. So, we are presented to a "future" space in an "ancient" public that does not know how to use it, because their data shows that they use spaces differently. The best way the project would have been created was if they had studied the data collected form the people into the information and had translated it into urban design.
