The Dominant fossil fuels used in Romania are Oil and Natural Gas. Compared to other European countries we use also a considerable amount of coal. Natural gas is used directly in industry but mostly for electricity production and as heating agent in individual heating systems in homes and offices. Oil is almost exclusively used for transplantation. Coal is used for some electricity generation, but it is mostly used for centralized water heating In Romania, the main way for goods transport are via roads, and also most people use the personal care por transportation, and transport is the main consumer of fossil fuels. I would encourage the use of trains for goods an long distance people transport as we have an extensive railroad system that has been neglected in the last couple of decades. Second I would consider investment in public transport in all major cities and surrounding areas. Regarding the coal use, we have a large industry of coal production, that has been diminished in the last decade but still many people depend on their jobs in the coal sector. Ample programs of retraining pared with the trend of expanding renewable system would lead to renouncing coal use.
