This image is a photo of the new Crown Casino in Sydney, Australia, under construction. As with many new high rise structures, glass is a key design element and building material. Due to the competitive Chinese market, cheaper and readily available glass imports have flooded the Australian construction industry. And specifically for this project the glass panes were cut to size in Korea as well. So it is built in Australia, but manufactured in China and processed in Korea.
