3. Important guidelines in a Citizen Design Science project: I believe the basis of a Citizen Design Science project is the engagement and sense of responsability of the community (and other agents) involved. So, to be sucessful at this task, I propose a few guidelines and strategies to be applied: - meet and bond with the community on a friendly basis before, gain their respect and trust, along with research that involves questioning the locals about it - study all possible necessities for the project - make effort to a full and easy understanding of the project and its important purpose - establish agreements (with rights and duties of each person) in the process. - interact with all agents of the process regularly, with professional fixed group meetings as well as leisure encounters - motivate the participants by applying strategies such as: goals, gamification criterias, etc - show progress and results of the process regularly, giving feedbacks and talking about improvements - maintain constant analysis of the progress and improvements
