Here we appreciate the predominance of the transportation infrastructure in today's Caracas. The idea of a Caracas dominated by the automobile began with a 1936 urban plan proposed by Maurice Rotival, which mainly stipulated the connection of the city center with the bordering areas through the use of large avenues from east to west. This produced a great change in the city's urbanistic framework as it gave rise to a great decentralized economic development, besides improving the dynamism and establishing the rules by which Caracas would grow even today. pd: the photo is not of my property
