ROUTE 1 - Newly opened street access to the university - Yet unpaved and located in a rural area, with greener aspects (trees, open fields, few traffic or social movement) - Ideal for walking and bike riding during the day (safer due to less traffic) - At night it becomes dangerous because there is no infrastructure (including street lighting) and little movement. ROUTE 2 - Located mostly on a highway in some points deserted (city’s stratification process). - Open fields and mountains visible from a far distance at some points, (attractive and relaxing) - Poor infrastructure for walking and biking (dangerous, especially at night). - Bus option involves walking through mud soil and bushes, unacessible for wheelchairs or anyone on a rainy day. - This route is safer and more confortably done by car, but increases travel time during rush hour ROUTE 3 - Located mostly on a highway already densified along its sides, being part of the city’s masterplan for development priority. - More infrastructure (lighting, sidewalks) - Average for biking and walking - High frequency of buses + interesting path (good option) - By car is confortable and safe, but increases travel time during rush hour
