- Provisioning services Barragem DNOS located in the Rio Vacacaí Mirim in the north side of the city. It is the basis of water supply and it also helps regulate temperature in the city's microclimate. - Regulating services Montain regions which incorporate trees and diverse animal species providing rich biodiversity for the region Habitat or Supporting services Parque Municipal dos Morros is city park and a conservation unit of full protection destined for preserving natural resources, eco-tourism, recreational, physical, environment educational activities and cientific purpouses. - Cultural services Appropriation of the city's university campus as an open park, used mostly on weekends. It provides recreation and mental and physical health for the inhabitants. Eco-toursim exploration with trekking routes, waterfalls, and a future geopark officialization that includes its unique animal and plant fossils existance. It provides possibility for environmental educational activities and cientific studies incorporated with regional university activities. Also, with guidelines to be developed in a bottom-up system with a community participation process in the project and maintenence.
