The Smart Building, called AR3000, is located in Curitiba (Brazil). As a smart building, it combines several software and automation features that sensors and adjust the building according to the temperature, light conditions, number of people using the elevators or even desired conditions of comfort or usage. Some examples: - Internal/External Lights: The building has a schedule to turn-on/off the external lights, according to season based on an automation system and a controlling software. The internal lights from some rooms (ex. Convention Center) are turned on/off according to a preprogramed agenda. - Heating/Cooling System: According to usage and external temperature, the internal rooms is keeping constant based on sensors and expected usage according to a planning and/or programing. - Elevators: The building has 6 elevators. According to usage and previous historic of usage (for example: 8:00AM pick usage) these elevators are turned on/off and people that comes to the building are automatically allocated to one or another elevator according to a pre-set criterion (economy of energy, social distancing, walking conditions etc.) Automation Software’s in AR3000 are a so important for livability & comfort as the physical construction.
