This commercial building infrastructure depicted in the picture is located near the city of Kolkata. It is a good example of how building construction majorly consist of elements from the globalized economy. Almost all the Construction material that is visible in this building originated from a different location far away from the site of the building itself. There is barely any material visible that could have originated close to the building site. The commercial building largely consists of construction materials such as tinted curtain glazing, Aluminum composite panel, steel and at the core the primary structure of the building is Reinforced cement concrete construction. These are the major construction material that has been used in this building and all of these materials are widely used in almost any construction that could be found around the globe. These materials could not have been procured from the vicinity of the construction site. The manufacturing of these material is done probably in a different part of the country in different industrial belts. Then construction ready components were transported to vendors and eventually to the construction site. The material identified from the building are not locally procured, but rather a globally sourced construction method.
