Climate Bahrain has high humidity specially in Summer where temperatures may reach more than 40 degrees Celsius . In winter, the weather is mild. Economics The economy of Bahrain is heavily dependent upon oil and gas. Energy Consumption . Based on 2014 statistics, the country consumes 11,500 kWh of energy per capita Industry The main industrial sectors are oil and gas industries. Transport Public transportation is provided by Bahrain Public Transport Company (BUS) The driving age is 18. 2.The main climate protection target in Bahrain is to reach sustainability. 3. The Kingdom has established many institutions and agencies involved in the development programmes, policies, and strategies to achieve sustainability .It has also enacted a number of laws related to sustainable development applications . 4. The targets that Bahrain has put are feasible and everybody is working hard to achieve them.
