I think that the following indicators are capable of analyzing the habitability of a city, and the quality of life that its inhabitants have: - Public health - Public spaces - Public transport - Security - Applied technology As can be seen in the attached image, Santa Cruz del Quiché has low indices in all indicators, due to the fact that there is a deficient planning of: plans, programs and projects that have the ability to prioritize the investment of public spending to improve the quality of life of the population. In addition, the opinion of the population is not taken into account to carry out these processes. I believe that citizen empowerment, and the technical strengthening of administrative institutions, can significantly help in the processes of: identification of problems; urban and territorial analysis; and planning of urban and rural territory, to find out the solutions that are adequately adapted to the specific conditions of our city, and that the projects carried out have a positive impact on the population.
