Module 6- Compulsory Exercise 3 Module 6 - compulsory Exercise: energy flows The Sankey Diagram - creating policy to reduce CO2 emissions In this exercise, we would like to ask you what you would do to reduce the CO2 emissions in your country. Please let us know: 1. What are the dominant fossil fuels used in your country? Use www.iea.org/sankey Biowaste products ( biofuels and waste) and Oil Products 2. Where are the dominant fossil fuels mainly used for in your country? (e.g. transport, industry, non-energy use etc.) Others ( biofuels and waste, electricity and oil products) Transport, Industry 3. It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy. Producing wind energy , solar energy , decreasing the pollution of the transport by promoting more the use of the bicycle.
