FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

I live in Caracas, but specifically in a satellite city: La Trinidad. This photo was taken in an intermediate point between my town and the capital, in Santa Rosa de Lima. In the photograph, the Prados del Este Highway can be seen in the foreground, which connects the southeast of the capital with the center. On the left we see the Valle Arriba Golf Club, on the left Santa Rosa residential buildings and in the background we see the urban outline of the buildings in the Caracas valley. Regarding the invisible information transmitted by the images, we can highlight: 1) Urban functions: The Prados del Este highway serves as a connection between mainly residential urban centers with the Caracas valley, where most of the capital's productive activities are concentrated. 2) Interchange patterns: The Prados del Este highway serves as a connection between different remote centers (Baruta, Las Minas, El Hatillo) with a very busy metro station, Chacaito. This metro station allows the underground mobilization of the population from the east to the west of the Caracas valley. This information is useful for improving the capital's public transport service and opens up the possibility of planning new surface transport lines.
