This building is a good example of the globalized construction industry. The owner is an international known car OEM. It´s architecture is well defined to present the modern and partly futuristic design. They used for the facade mostly glass and aluminum. The biggest aluminum producers worldwide are China, Russia, Canada and Brasil. Thus it is most likely that this ressource is not even from the continent where the building is built. Germany has a demand of 500k t of Aluminum every year for the construction industry. Aluminum has advantages like low weight, rostproofed, easy (pre-) processing and easy for cleaning but still a stabile material. This material will play a key role in the next years of the construction industry.
