I live in Koropi a city 30 kw away from Athens. In my view the 3 most important stocks and flows in my area are people, waste and pollution. 1)People: A big part of Greek economy is depended on the tourism. Therefore the airport of Athens which is only 5 kw away from my city is busy during summertime. 2)Waste: Unfortunately the urban waste of Athens leach into landfills and Greece fairly pays penalties to EU for this situation which is out of law. 3)Pollution: The fleet of buses and cars are too old and many factories do not follow the environmental regulations as a result the air is polluted. The problems can be solved if the taxes is decreased in order to the citizens can buy new vehicles. Also Athens needs one more airport, more metro lines, buses and better quality of pavement with the correct road sign. It is obligatory to be better waste operation such as biological wastewater treatment and production energy by wind farms and solar cells.
