Location: Los Angeles State Historic Park on Spring Street facing Southwest to downtown. Visible Information: wide tree lined sidewalks, active pedestrian with pet, downtown skyline, securitized public space, active city roads with more cars than pedestrian, and polluted air with smog. Invisible Information: 1) although the city has pollution and congestion problems, there appears to be a strong movement to correct these past planning mistakes; and 2) currently, a smaller percentage of citizens embrace these changes.
