The wooden church of Vila Planalto de Nossa Senhora Rosário Pompéia was built in 1960 and listed by UNESCO in 1998. It suffered a fire in 2000, taking 7 years for its reconstruction. it is located in the central area of the capital, between the dawn palace and the plateau palace, in a village that was built to house the pioneers of the construction of Brasília. A wooden work that stands out among many others of masonry. Like other works in the capital, they were built in wood, it is the example of the first official residence, Catetinho also built in wood and housed President Juscelino. As it is a new city, only 60 years old, the buildings in Brasília are mostly made of masonry and mirrored buildings. Brasília does not have skyscrapers, as it is listed and has strict limits for buildings, especially in the central area.
