3 Stocks and Flows: Punjab, India Agriculture: The state of Punjab is the largest producer of agricultural products (e.g. Wheat and Rice). The land of Punjab is very fertile making it suitable for agricultural use. The produce acts as a stock while all the other factors related to it like labour which comes from other states, transportation of the produce all over India, economy and pollution due to the burning of the residue of the produce, are the flows. Education: The city of Chandigarh has many higher education institutes like PGIMER, Panjab University, Medical Colleges, Law Colleges, Arts Colleges, etc. And Chandigarh is the major city with all these institutes between four states of Northern India namely Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu Kashmir. These institutes acts as the stock of education and the students from all the mentioned and other states who come to study and then move out to work are the flows. Golden Temple: The religious place of golden temple is a huge stock for the city of Amritsar. People from all over the world go there to pray. They act as flows of this stock.
