The image shows the dependence on infrastructure to distribute drinking water, electricity and networks. In relation to water, due to the height of most buildings in the urban area that ranges from 2 - 3 stories, it is possible to have a raised tank for the distribution of water by gravity, and thus reduce costs of electric power. It is also possible to observe in the image that the cables used for the distribution of electrical energy services, telephony and networks, are installed aerially, reducing infrastructure costs, but directly affecting the urban image of Santa Cruz del Quiché.
