Idea: recycling paper, glass, metal, and/or plastic items through a machine located at subway stations, which can be synchronized to the phone app. The more you recycle, the more points you accumulate. Points can be used to redeem recycled bags from supermarkets- this is to address the problem of excessive use of plastic bags in supermarkets as they come at a free cost. Users who redeem their recycled bags after recycling their unwanted items are more incentivized to use the them, thus helping to encourage recycling as well as reducing single use plastic bags.
