Declaration: Due to ongoing pandemic and lock-down in my city, I am not able to take a photograph myself and I had to use the image from internet contextual to what I wish to analyse in this exercise. The image refers to one of the iconic food street of the city where in the normal time, its inhabitants use to enjoy fresh, hot and hygienic street food at affordable prices with family and with friends. The street used to burst at its seams due to jostling of people, big and small vehicles resulting in stampedes almost everyday. The street is undergoing a face lift during this downtime to convert itself into a walking zone where vehicles will not be allowed. After completion of this phase of construction, the food street will be India's second geographical index after Law Street (Food Street) in Ahmedabad. The Spacious span of the street could be used to create generous sitting spaces for the families to sit in small cubicles with natural greenery to create safe and cosy sit outs to enjoy the street food which the inhabitants are addicted to - specially on weekends and holidays.
