1)The immigrants from neighboring states (flow) In Thane City, there are lot of immigrants coming from neighboring states in order to find the job opportunities. The educational qualifications of these immigrants vary drastically thus the jobs/business that they take up varies as well. The immigrants are seen from Multinational Companies to the Roadside food stalls. These immigrants, especially the workers have become essential part of the growth of the city. Many workers active on the construction sites are immigrants. So they are in turn useful for the development of city. 2) The lakes in the city (stock) Beautiful lakes like Masunda Lake, Upvan Lake, Bramhale and many more not only add to the beauty of the city, but also to the city's historical importance. The numerous lakes lying in the rich natural surroundings all over the city could attract large number of tourists, and become hot picnic spots if they are maintained and kept well.
