The first thing that one might notice is the manhole on the right hand side of the picture, which is above the level of the road. Right now, it may not be apparent that it would cause any problems. However, in rain when the roads get flooded with water, the sewers beneath overflow and the water starts to seep above, mixing with the rainwater creating a pungent smell that is unbearable at times. Furthermore, stepping out of homes becomes virtually impossible because the water is at a knee-deep height after the rain due to the inefficient drainage system. Hence, to conclude, it is vital that for an urban area to be livable it should have a proper road infrastructure and a quick drainage system for when it rains. Secondly, the electricity poles have a number of other wires going along them. If the pole were to collapse the inhabitants of the area would not only face electricity problems but also internet, telephone and mobile issues as all the wires, including the 11kV supply are all attached on a single pole. Instead of grouping together all these wires, different poles should host the various wired connections for the area.
