1. It´s the 'Trg Slavija' ('Slavija Square') with it´s fontaine. On the photo can be seen the public transport service, car traffic and pedestrians. Around the space are buildings that are quiet new. Others are partly historical and from the beginning of the last century. Hotels, shops and restaurants are located. Residential buildings in the back. Traffic lights and green spaces are rare. 2. - The dimension of the street lines around the square are made to ensure a high demand of vehicle traffic. 'Trg Slavija' is one of the most frequented traffic junctions in Belgrade. Traffic jams are regular here. - The fountain in the middle is presenting a changing light music water show every evening to be a tourisitc hot spot. To get there is dangerous on foot. 3. When the square was planned a chance was missed to include a square where future mobility concept and green spaces have their place. This could increase the attractivity of the place and decrease traffic. The mixure of architecture types around the square is a result of an untuned urban space planning. The attractivity should have a higher attention by the urban planners and prepare the city for future.
