1. Three stocks and flows identified: water, people, consturction materials. 2. In the first picture, water streams from the top of the mountains through a creek taking water and nourishment to the land that it passes through; in the second picture, people are exemplified by mass transportation systems which take people from suburban areas to the city center and viceversa; in the third picture, construction materials from different factories and producers from different locations are sold in a store for being utilized in the surrounding area. 3. I think water management in the area can be improved by storing the excess rainwater in tanks in order to reutilize water when necessary and during more arid periods; the transportation system for commuting people should move to a greener approach and being reorganized to have a smaller impact on the environment; the use of more local construction materials or coming from the closest harvesting and production points should be incentivized.
