Mossman is a small town north of the tourism centre of Cairns in Australia. Next to the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics rainforest. This photo shows the crossroads where traffic comes from four directions into the town. Visible information is buildings, cars and people walking. Invisible information includes the number of tourists (who look like everyone else), where they are going and what they are doing. Invisible information also includes the amount of sugar cane and other industry traveling through the intersection including going to the hardware building to the middle left of the photo. Other invisible information includes the history of people and activity that have used this intersection for about 100 years.
