The picture shows domestic waste being dumped in open areas. There are several open places besides residential buildings where one can find domestic waste being dumped by the residents of that area. Most of the people aren't aware of the diseases that get spread through open disposal of domestic waste (both dry and wet). Therefore, the app would be based on the idea of domestic waste management, through which residents can raise complaints regarding waste disposal problems in their areas. Then, the municipal authorities can take action accordingly and solve the issues raised by residents. Also, through the app, awareness on diseases that get spread through household waste disposal in open areas, especially during monsoon seasons can be created, thus making the residents responsible for not disposing waste in open areas and maintain their good health.
