FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

In this image of the Historic Center of Maracaibo, we appreciate its backwardness and abandonment: the garbage of the day generated by informal trade on the roads, lack of lighting, vegetation, and urban furniture. The presence of a grey economy can be seen in the streets and pedestrian pathways next to historical buildings - their deterioration is evident. By analyzing this visible information, we can obtain non-visible one: -The desolation and abandonment of such an important area speak of an unfriendly and unsafe city for its inhabitants and their disinterest and of the government entities to maintain it, take care of it, modernize it. -The presence of grey economy next to the historical buildings shows a lack of urban planning, lack of public spaces, lack of employment of a sickened economy, and lack of education about our heritage - we don't know what we have, so we don't mind losing it. This information can be used to get the behavioral pattern of both the inhabitants and the area itself, which in turn can be analyzed into a study of land uses to create knowledge and improve upon what we have.
