I consider that the most important stocks and flows in my city are people, food and density. Santarém is capital of its district and and so as that it always has people entering and getting out. Some of them because they have to take care of some burocracy or buy stuff that cannot be found in the places they live, for exemple. A lot of work opportunities can be found in this city but also it has some attractions for the tourists (flows) and we also have people who live here permanently (stock). The 2 universities here also contribute to this concept. The stocks and flows of also has a huge role in the city. Agriculture is the most popular job in this region and so as that, most of the food that we eat is produced locally which also deppends on the place we buy the food of course. Despite the fact that we are great producers of vegetables and fruits it is extremely usual to see vegetables and fruits imported from other countries.
