This image is from a small town of India. The image very well shows use of steel and concrete which were not used initially in the rural parts of the country. The bricks in this site are clay bricks which are made locally. Before a decade or two the material used for construction were Clay Bricks with clay to join them and the columns and beams were usually of timber. Even the floor base was made from timber wood but as the globalization took place all these things were replaced by steel,cement and bricks.
