I live in Mumbai City and there are numerous metro line projects going on here. One of which is fully underground project that stretches from Colaba-Bandra-Seepz .There are currently no Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) manufacturers in India. Hence in order to make this project happen, TBMs were imported here from Russia and China. This project would be almost impossible without Globalization because, even technicians were brought in to train the engineers to maintain and operate these machines.
