Here is a picture clicked from my terrace. It comprises of multiple multistorey buildings at a distance. As I stay in Mumbai, it is commonly observed that tall buildings are constructed in close vicinity and a variety of contsruction materials are used. Over the years I have seen, buildings made of steel reinforced concrete, glass, bricks and mud. It is also observed that lately, the building walls are not made of bricks but aerated concrete blocks are used and this reduced the weight of the overall structure as it is light. The beams and columns are still made up of steel reinforced concrete. After a little research and survey it was known that these were locally obtained materials from within the country as imported materials are used to make better building used for a different purpose.
