Hello everyone, my name is David, I´m from Quito, Ecuador. First of all, this picture wasn't taken by me but it is a picture o a hydro electric dam built on my country. I think this hydro electric is the biggest one in my country. I think that this structure is a clear example of all the concepts learned on Module 8. The final goal of a hydro electric is to use water as an energy source. Here we use insfrastructure, water, energy, so I think this is a good example of infrastructure dependency. The Dam is located on the Coca River in Napo Province which is one the biggest rivers in my country. The amounts of water carried by this river is incredible and with the use of this infrastructure, we can use these water to prodce energy and transport it to the different cities.
