Uploaded on 2020-06-30
I wanted to show this photo to do this exercise. The photo is not taken by me but I want to talk about the public transportation in Istanbul. Firstly let's look at visual information. We can see that there is lots of people who use this metro line, the shape of the subway, how the underground looks like etc. Besides of these, there are invisible information too. Here is some examples: The density of the passengers according to time, the density of passengers by age, how many tourist use the subway, which stations are the most crowded ones etc. Let's talk about the density of crowd. If we have a data about that topic, we can know that which time is more crowded and which one is not. So, we can arrange subways according to that. We may increase the number of subway or the capasity of subway. May be we do not need subways, we need something else that people can be more comfortable. And with that data, we can start to study for other thing.
