In Ecuador there are multiple hydroelectric plants that try to provide electrical energy to millions of Ecuadorians. In History, power outages or blackouts were very common in everyday life. Now the cases are less frequent and there is total dependence, economic measures make electricity consumption subsidized and the poorest people can also enjoy electricity. This also happens with gasoline, but dependence on crude oil is a world-wide problem, dependence on electricity is a big problem, people have not changed the perception of sustainability and environmental impact.
